Dr. Tabassum Hussain is an experienced da’ee, lecturer, researcher, debater, and youth mentor based in Toronto, Canada. She actively engages Muslim communities, particularly the youth, by addressing contemporary challenges through an Islamic framework grounded in authentic scholarship and critical thinking.
She holds a PhD in Neuroscience, an MSc in Advanced Neuroscience, and a BSc in Biological Sciences. Her academic background in the sciences brings a unique analytical perspective to her da’wah, teaching, and mentoring work. While her professional training lies in Neuroscience, her passion and commitment to Islamic education, critical engagement, and youth empowerment have earned her recognition as a dynamic speaker and mentor.
