Biography

Ustadah Amira graduated from her ʿĀlimiyyah studies in 2020, having completed a comprehensive programme in Islamic Theology and Jurisprudence, with focused study in Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Fiqh, and Arabic language. Her training included engagement with classical texts, understanding the evidences of scholars, and appreciating the depth and nuance of differing juristic opinions. Since graduating, she has remained committed to teaching and sharing sacred knowledge, striving to make traditional scholarship accessible, structured, and spiritually grounding for students.

Alongside her Islamic studies, Ustadha Amira holds a degree in Child Development and a PGCE in Primary and Early Years Education from Edge Hill University. She has several years of teaching experience across early years and primary settings, which has equipped her with strong pedagogical skills and a deep understanding of how students learn and develop. Her background in education allows her to deliver lessons that are engaging, thoughtfully structured, and tailored to varying learning needs.

In addition, she holds a Level 2 qualification in Counselling Skills, which informs her compassionate and reflective approach to teaching. She is passionate about creating learning environments that nurture both intellectual growth and spiritual wellbeing, encouraging students to connect with Islam not only academically, but personally and transformationally.
